Last year, I was browsing around the beauty blogosphere and I came across a post that left me with my mouth just hanging open. A beauty blogger was showing her hoard of make up and beauty tools. The woman had shelves lining an entire wall, each one stuffed with various bins, baskets and other organizers – all TOTALLY FULL. Hundreds upon hundreds of lipsticks, liners, mascaras, shadows, powders, foundations and concealers…every type or style of make up known to man. **She easily had two hundred various brushes and on another wall she had half shelves filled with samples and make up that “she didn’t use that often.” Whoa. She had more make up than some boutiques I’ve been in! And it was all organized so beautifully. Everything in it’s place, like with like, etc. I think I remember her stating that she could find anything, and knew each item she owned. My “collection” is beyond puny when compared to hers (as most people’s would be, I imagine) but I do like to keep my things tidy.
You might recall that when I posted about my make up mirror, I told you about the little vanity area I finally made. I redid a cute table and was so happy with my make up spot! Not too long after that the table top split- so now my printer is on it, since it doesn’t matter for the printer (I’m out of ink anyway, lol) but it was darned inconvenient for doing up your face. That meant my make up went back into the bathroom…and as neat as you try to be, it’s just clutter-y, especially when it sits right in the middle of the sinks. (Our drawers don’t function – a new bathroom vanity is next on our “fix our house” list.) I thinned out my make up, tossing all my out dated or expired items, and everything I hadn’t used recently enough to remember. That helped a lot, but I still wasn’t happy. Then I found a great little desk that I re-did and I wanted to start using it as my make-up table, but only the bottom two drawers are the right size, way too much bending and stooping, no thanks! So I put all my stuff back in the bathroom!

You can see how it was taking up all the available counter space in my bathroom. I admit to cleaning up before I took the picture. I threw away all the used Q-tips and make-up sponges, put all the brushes together as they were scattered about and generally tidied. My mom visits my blog!! LOL. Even tidy and neat though, this was just not a good system. Hub was forever grousing about all my stuff! I, of course, simply point to the toilet seat in the up position…

I had a blast putting all my stuff in here. Arrange, rearrange, re-rearrange. It’s perfect now. Inside, under the slide out trays, the depth means you can fit in A LOT of taller items, bulky palettes, kits or what have you.
Not only is all my make up organized and in easy reach, the actual interior is totally adjustable so you can customize each area size wise. I can access everything at once, including the deeper inside compartments, or just pull out a few trays. Since the top drops down on either side you can put your most used products on just one side if you want. Or like me- use the entire top, LOL. It is amazing how roomy this case is,and I love how solid and well made it is! Thankfully, you can clean it with a hot soapy rag if your stuff spills. Another super great feature is that I can use it two ways when traveling- either carried or…ta da da da…as a rolling carrier. It has (again very sturdy, well made) a removable set of wheels and adjustable handle. Sigh. I so love this! ♥Pink ♥Crocodile♥ You can see where you can attach the wheels to the back of the case. It’s a one click deal. Easy.

The wheel/handle is very compact- but pulls out really tall for rolling your case.
Basically it’s totally perfect in every way. Color (♥) texture, space, size, durability and I forgot to say, it locks. This is something that everyone needs! I know it! Christmas is coming…maybe you, your daughter or a college bound someone is on your list and you couldn’t think of anything. Of course I searched via the color filter- pink and purple, but there are so many styles! I love having all my make up organized and accessible in such a darling case. I can see how that would be very handy!! My husband complains too about the ‘stuff’ all over the bathroom counter in between our sinks. It’s not my fault he doesn’t have so much cool stuff, right?
