It’s been a while since I have worn liquid foundation and when I say a while I mean a couple of years. There are several reason as to why I haven’t worn it in so long, mainly because of the ingredients in most foundations cause me to breakouts and I’ve tried a lot of brands. Also because I can never find a good shade for me. A lot of the foundations I’ve tried from the drug stores either have a pink or yellow tone and just do not look right on me. I took a chance with Mia Mariu Cosmetics and tried their Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundation. I used the shade finder on their website and went with Trigo. It turned out to be perfect, no pink or yellow tones and no breakouts. The coverage is great, it doesn’t make my skin look totally flawless, but still very good. I am super pleased with this foundation and so glad to have found one that works for me.
I also decided to try their mineral primer and to get a new lip shade for the upcoming fall season.
The primer is moisturizing and preps the skin for a smooth application and lasting wear of the foundation.
I love my new lip shade as well, I wanted something a little darker and bolder than I normally go for for the upcoming fall season. It provides shine with just a hint of sparkle, not too much though.
I’m happy with everything I received from Mia Mariu Cosmetics. This entire selection was under $60.
