My daughter and I have had a couple fun filled days with the “Almost Naked Animals” of Banana Cabana in the past week. You are probably wondering what in the world “Almost Naked Aniamls” is… Almost Naked Animals is a top-rated animated series for kids aged 6-11 on the cartoon network. It is based on the quirky designs of Noah Z. Jones, and features an ensemble cast of underwear-clad animals, led by Howie, the fun-loving, hospitality challenged canine manager of the beachfront hotel, Banana Cabana.
We don’t normally watch the Cartoon Network and when I first heard about this series I was a little concerned about whether of not it would be appropriate for my 7 year old. I did some research and learned that it was pretty harmless, so we watched volume 1 of the show. My daughter laughed, giggled and cackled throughout the entire show as the actions and happenings involved in the cartoon are pretty exaggerated and often ridiculously funny.
There are 6 episodes on volume 1 including:
>>It’s My Party-Episode 101
>>Saliva Drive-Episode 102
>>One Star Hotel-Episode 103
>>What Would Batty Do-Episode 104
>>Employee of the Month-Episode 105
>>Duck Vinci Code-Episode 106
In honor of the upcoming release of of volume 1 of Almost Naked Animals, we received this Banana Cabana Welcome Package that inlcluded:
>>Almost Naked Animals Volume 1 DVD
>>Almost Naked Animals tote bag
>>Almost Naked Animals notebook
>>Almost Naked Animals party coasters
>>Bar Bug (fake ice cube with bug)
>>Whoopi Cushion
I remember having a whoopee cushion when I was a kid, my daughter had never seen one before once she figured out what it was and what it did, she wouldn’t stop playing with it. Oh and it was fun putting the “bar bug” in daddies drink.
