Back to School with HEELY’S Skate Shoes

Heelys skate shoes are so unique. One minute they are regular shoes, then next minute they are skates! My daughter received a pair recently for Back to School and she loves them. I do too as they aren’t too difficult to swap the plug and the wheels.

How Do Heely’s Work?

Each pair of shoes comes with a set of wheels, the shoe plug for when the wheels aren’t in and a tool to switch them out with. It is super easy to make the switch from skate to regular shoe, see our picture by picture demonstration:

So, of course Heely’s are fun, cute and stylish but are they comfortable? The verdicts is in and D says yes! She is pretty picky about shoes and what she wears on her feet.. if they don’t feel good she won’t wear them (and why should she?). These are the perfect shoes for kids…and adults! These fun shoes come in adults sizes as well, our uncle actually got himself a pair, too!

A while for a kid can be 5 minutes, lol. When the shoes first came, we took them to the park for a test run on the walking track and it didn’t take too long for her to “get the hang of them”.
