Made From Earth is natural and organic skin care line. They carry lotions, facial treatments, lip balms and hair products. When I was browsing their website, the Holistic Honey body lotion caught my eye. I have heard how good honey is for hydrating the hair and skin but I’ve never used it for that purpose. In fact, I’ve always been a little skeptical of using honey for the hair and/or skin, but I wanted to try this lotion on my daughter. She has very dry skin, her knees and elbows get that “ashy” look and we have to apply lotion often. Typically I would have to apply lotion to her skin after bath time and in the morning before school, and even sometimes after school.

Scent: the scent is very “hearbal tea-ish”, that is the only way I know how to describe it, not my favorite, but not horrible.
The directions say apply the lotion, allow it to absorb into the skin and reapply. I have been using this routine on my daughter after her bath time for several weeks now. From the first use it really hydrated her skin and made it so soft. There is now no need to reapply lotion in the mornings when we use this per instructions in the evenings. It’s light texture allows the skin to soak up the nutrients quickly. This body lotion is very effective and is definitely a new favorite.
As for myself, I have dry skin as well, so I was eager to try Made from Earth’s Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer.

My face tends to be the driest area of my entire body. This face/neck cream is loaded with antioxidants, minerals and vitamins for healthy skin. One of the key ingredients in this moisturizer is Organic Rooibos Tea Extract which aids in preventing free radical damage, fine lines, and wrinkles. So, as this cream is providing my skin with some much needed hydration it is also protecting it, leaving it soft and healthy.

I have all kinds of different lotions, but I never remember to put it on often enough. I have that dry skin too. I wish they made a lotion you could use once a week and would keep moisture in that whole time LOL.

The jojoba and aloe vera is what I most sought after for a product of my choice with regards to ultimate skin care kit. This one has been my mainstay. Been using it for quite some time and I definitely am satisfied with it.
